Systems Approach & Importance
It is vital to understand HOW things influence one another within the WHOLE and how to concentrate or view the "problems" as parts of an overall system, rather than reacting to specific part, outcomes or events and potentially contributing to further development of unintentional consequences.
The Systems Thinking is not one thing or idea but a set of habits and/or practices within a framework that is based on the belief that the component parts of a system can best be understood in the context of relationships with each other and with other systems, rather than in isolation.
One must also acknowledge that although you can make an improvement in one area of your organization, you can adversely affect another area an dthat the systems approach strengthens organizational communication at ALL levels and reduces negative cosequences of a typical silo effect.
The Process Examines:
- Leadership Development
- Organizational Structure & Design
- Business Communications
The Outcomes:
Provide knowledge & resources that support change and promote creativity while improving performance & quality outcomes and responsiveness to all stakeholders.
